Body awareness is the key to self – experience. Aikido does open a large space for that way of practice and gives you a chance to use that in other physical and emotional activities of everyday living.
My first book deals with human joints in aikido, their function and connections, not only in mechanical approach. You can also read about a reasonable warm ups that help to take you into the deeper training and some words on injuries and how to avoid them.
